PLAYRIOT LLC ("we," "us," or "our") operates the DealShield mobile application ("App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. About DealShield

DealShield is an AI-powered car deal assistant that helps users evaluate vehicle purchase deals, detect dealer negotiation tactics, analyze contracts, and calculate out-the-door pricing.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information: If you create an account, we collect your email address and a user identifier for authentication purposes.

Deal Data: Vehicle pricing, APR, loan terms, fees, and add-on information you enter for deal analysis is stored locally on your device. This data is sent to our AI service (api.aiappnation.com) for scoring and analysis but is not permanently stored on our servers.

Voice Data (Live Coach): When you use the Live Deal Coach feature, audio is captured via your device microphone and transcribed on-device using Apple's Speech Recognition framework. The text transcript is sent to our AI service for tactic detection. Raw audio is never transmitted or stored on our servers.

Contract Images (Contract Scanner): When you use the Contract Scanner, photos of your contract pages are processed using on-device Vision framework OCR. The extracted text is sent to our AI service for analysis. Images are not uploaded to or stored on our servers.

App Preferences: Settings and checklist progress are stored locally on your device via UserDefaults.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide AI-powered deal scoring, contract analysis, and coaching responses
• To calculate out-the-door pricing and detect add-ons
• To authenticate your account and manage subscription status
• We do not sell your data to third parties
• We do not use your data for advertising

4. Third-Party Services

AI Processing: Deal analysis, contract scanning results, and coaching responses are processed by our AI service at api.aiappnation.com. Text data is sent encrypted and is not stored after the response is returned.

Apple StoreKit: Subscription purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Apple's privacy policy governs that data.

Apple Speech Recognition: The Live Deal Coach uses Apple's SFSpeechRecognizer for on-device transcription. Some speech recognition may be processed by Apple's servers depending on device and iOS version.

5. Device Permissions

• Microphone: Used only during Live Deal Coach sessions you initiate. Revocable in iOS Settings.
• Speech Recognition: Used only during Live Deal Coach sessions. Revocable in iOS Settings.
• Camera: Used only for Contract Scanner to photograph contract pages. Revocable in iOS Settings.
• Photo Library: Used only for Contract Scanner to select existing photos of contracts.

6. Data Storage & Retention

Deal data, checklists, and app preferences are stored locally on your device. This data persists until you delete the app. Account data is retained while your account is active. You may request deletion by contacting us.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Data is shared only with our AI processing service to provide the app's core features.

8. Children's Privacy

DealShield is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will post changes at this URL and update the date above. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
